Apparently the psychologist who developed these questions got two people to fall in love as they shared their responses in a lab. I think many of these would be good tools for self-knowledge as well.
Questions developed as a task for generating closeness.

I just had a good cuddle with both of them. The chickens are closed in to the chicken house with nice dry hay and food and water. Probably the water is frozen by now; I'll need to take out more soon. What a day! It's going to be this way until Friday, by all accounts.

Aunt Jerry died yesterday afternoon. She'd been suffering terribly for awhile and we're all relieved she's at peace now but such a great loss to the world. Or perhaps I should say, she was such a great gift to the world. Each of us in our family hold precious pieces of her in her wisdom, memories, and legacy of love. She was a great-hearted woman filled with love and gratitude for life and Nancy A. I could not resist the French Meat Pie--and I'm glad I gave in to temptation. The aroma alone transported me to a blissful place of comfort--warmth in a refuge from winter's bitter bite. I got the ingredients to make it today, and I'm going to make a pie for Noah's visit on Wednesday.

At one point, SunRa put a rice cake on top of the babies and went off to eat with ChaCha. I took the rice cake out of the cage so he didn't get anymore bright ideas.

It's been a tough, tough year. The longest, deepest, most disabling depression I've ever experienced; financial and family challenges piled up when one alone would have been daunting; other heartbreaks I don't wish to mention specifically for superstitious reasons and to avoid being tiresome. This one will stay with me: A Land More Kind Than Home by Wiley Cash
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I love Southern literature and I grew up in the Deep South during the 1960s and '70s; I've spent a lot of time in the region of NC in which this book is set.Nancy A. I admit it. I can watch five episodes of Dexter back-to-back. Amazon.com makes it easy because you can buy an episode for 2 bucks and watch it instantly.
My favorite person on the show is Debra. I can't help loving her vulnerable/tough/funny/tragic character and her potty mouth. Something about her creative swearing appeals to my inner twelve year old. Here's my favorite Debra outburst so Nancy A. Please find me on Goodreads! I want your book recommendations. I'm finding this a great way to mark books I want to read and find the info when I am ready to order them on ILL. I've sworn off paper books, except through the library, so I now think ILL is the bee's knees. http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/8130275-nancy

There's nothing else I want to write about right now, but words elude me, and others have said so much, so beautifully. I'd rather let Michael himself speak here, and direct readers to his words and words of his more eloquent friends.
God, our hearts ache.
We lost Michael Saturday night; he was at the New England Young Writers Conference with his students, doing some of the things he loves Nancy A. Henryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04136283631825739872noreply@blogger.com1
